What is a Google Business Profile? 
We’re not going to assume that everyone knows what a Google Business Profile is because to assume makes an… you know the rest! Put simply, it’s a free listing that allows you to share details of your business including photos, location, reviews, services and products. However, you should know that it is only available to businesses that have contact with customers. This can either be through a physical location such as a shop, restaurant or café or services provided that involve meeting clients or customers like a decorator or a plumber.

How many times have you heard the phrase “just Google it”? Probably loads, right? This is why it’s important to be seen on the world’s most popular search engine. Your profile will show your potential customers exactly where, when and how they should visit or contact your business, so they don’t have to find the information for themselves. It will also help with your local SEO as your website is more likely to appear when people look for nearby businesses. 
2. Quick and Easy to Update 
Much like our websites being super easy to edit, your Google Business Profile can be updated with a few clicks or taps. This is a fantastic way of letting your customers know about any changes to your business, whether it be operational hours, location or temporary closures. Much like social media, you can post updates too. This allows you to engage with an audience who may not be on any social media platforms but still like to keep up to date with your business. 
3. It’s Free! 
We don’t get much for free in this day and age and when we do, we’re always a bit sceptical and wonder what the catch is. We can assure you that there is no catch and there is nothing to be sceptical about.
